HR Specialist - Workers Compensation

Role : HR Specialist - Workers Compensation

Type : Direct Hire

Location : Spring, TX

Schedule : Flexible / Hybrid

Pay : $65,000 - $67,000 / year

Benefits : This position is eligible for medical, dental, vision, and 401k.

The HR Specialist supports all areas of the Human Resources team with special projects in areas such as onboarding, employee engagement, organizational development, performance management, and diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives.

Job Description :

Support HR Department with HR special projects related to performance management, onboarding, employee engagement, retention, and turnover.

Respond to sensitive inquiries and questions from employees regarding the company's policies, sensitive issues, or the available benefits; and managing the company's response (and the related confidentiality) to these sensitive employee relations issues; forwarding the issues to the appropriate HR / Arrow representative for follow up.

Provide support to program leaders with onboarding of new staff, to include orientation, and serves as resource for new hires.

Track, reports and compile metrics including diversity, turnover, performance management, headcount, and other forms of measurement for the HR team.

Monitor and administer annual compliance trainings, continuing education, and safety trainings. Tracks and reports compliance of HR related training.

Manage the termination process to include exit surveys, PAF review, IT access, and inventory checklist.

Responsible for data analysis, trending, and reporting of exit surveys.

Manage the Arrow service awards program, provide recommendations for recognition and rewards programs.

Assists in establishing a positive HR presence with Arrow leaders and employees through monthly HR newsletter.

Serves as main point of contact for safety related tracking in HRIS.

Occasional travel may be required.

Perform all duties within contract, state and federal regulations, company policy, and regulatory agency standards.

May be required to drive vehicles, be insurable with our auto insurance provider, and complete company vehicle training.

Requirements :

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field, or 3 years in HR.
  • Experience with HRIS or ATS systems required.
  • PHR / SPHR certification preferred.
