Job description

Knapheide Truck Equipment Center in St. Louis, MO (St. Peters) is looking to hire a full-time Installer to assemble, install, and customize a variety of heavy-duty work truck bodies. This position works Monday - Friday from 7 : 00 AM - 3 : 30 PM.

No experience needed - We are willing to train the right candidate who is motivated and dependable!

What you'll be doing :

  • Assemble and install equipment such as : service bodies, platforms, van packages, hoists, electrical components and circuits, shelving and drawer systems, ladder racks, and other mechanical items
  • Read work instructions and installation directions
  • Gather materials and properly assemble equipment
  • Test performance before delivering units to a final audit

    • Experience you'll need :

  • High School Diploma or GED Equivalent
  • Ability to lift and / or move up to 50 pounds
  • Basic mechanical aptitude
