Requirements :

Job Title : Lifeguard

Reports to : General Manager

FLSA Status : Non-Exempt

Summary : Under general supervision, ensures the safety of patrons of Goldfish Swim School by preventing and responding to emergencies.

Duties and Responsibilities :

Safety Standards : The safety of our swimmers, parents and team members is of the utmost importance. Goldfish Swim School follows all CDC and WHO safety standards along with following any local guidelines. In addition here are some additional safety precautions and procedures we follow :

Education / Experience : Prefer a High School Student with Lifeguard, CRP / AED and First Aid Certifications. Prefer 6 months experience as lifeguard at an aquatic facility or camp.

Certifications : Lifeguard, CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications are required and must be current (Certification can be provided). In the event that the certification lapses or expires, the lifeguard will be removed from the assigned station until a current certification can be obtained. We can provide certification to qualified candidates.

Work Environment : While performing this job, the employee is regularly exposed to heat and humidity. Noise level is usually moderate.
