The Manager of Electrical and Instrumentation Engineering position is based out of our Quad Cities Generating Station in Cordova, IL.

The expected salary range is $156,600 to $174,000, reflecting experience and qualifications.

PRIMARY PURPOSE OF POSITION

Oversee and manage the engineering function, ensuring accountability and compliance with station needs and regulatory requirements.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Lead the engineering function to meet site requirements and regulatory standards.
  • Oversee the performance and development of engineering staff to align with site and corporate goals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality engineering outcomes.
  • Provide engineering and technical leadership for programs affecting station operations, collaborating with staff and stakeholders.
  • Engage in Business Planning, Budget Strategy, and Business Performance review concerning the engineering team.
  • Act as a senior resource for company-wide initiatives aimed at enhancing standardized engineering systems and processes.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as assigned, including emergency response duties, departmental support, and involvement in outage activities.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil / Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical, or Nuclear) or related science, or a licensed Professional Engineer, or an active / inactive SRO License with a minimum of 5 years of engineering experience, including at least 1 year in nuclear power plant operations.
  • Must meet additional qualifications as outlined in ANSI / ANS-3.1-2014 Standard for personnel selection and training in nuclear environments.
  • Must maintain the minimum access requirements, including favorable medical assessments, as applicable to the position.
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Professional Engineer Registration.
  • Advanced technical degree or Master of Business Administration (MBA).
  • Experience in supervisory or managerial roles.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
