Position Summary

The Health Information Clerk is responsible for overseeing the integrity, security, and accessibility of patient health records. This role ensures compliance with healthcare regulations, supports clinical operations through accurate documentation, and leads initiatives to optimize electronic health record (EMR) systems. This is a 6 month contract.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain patient health records in accordance with HIPAA and other regulatory standards.
• Ensure accurate medical coding and documentation for billing, reimbursement, and reporting.
• Conduct audits and quality checks to ensure data accuracy and completeness.
• Stay current with changes in healthcare laws, coding standards, and technology trends.
