Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support elementary students from pre-school through grade 5. This contract role offers an opportunity to provide essential speech and language services within a hybrid school environment.

Location :

  • Situated in Madison, West Virginia.
  • Serving an elementary caseload within a school setting.

Contract Details :

  • Working 3 to 4 days per week.
  • The position is non-itinerant, focusing on one location.
  • Consideration may be given to Speech-Language Pathologist Candidates under Clinical Fellowship (SLP-CF).
  • Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring for students with speech and language disorders.
  • Collaborate with educators and support staff to design and implement individualized treatment plans.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and regulatory guidelines.
  • Support a hybrid model of instruction, adapting services to both in-person and remote learning environments.
  • Preferred Qualifications and Experience :

  • Valid Speech-Language Pathology certification or eligibility.
  • Experience working with preschool through elementary-aged children.
  • Knowledge of school-based speech-language therapy practices.
  • Ability to work effectively within a hybrid instructional setting.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
