Job descriptionHigh school diploma or GED. 5+ years of hands-on experience with diesel engines, hydraulic, or electrical systems. Advanced knowledge of diagnostic tools and service manuals. Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to work under pressure in fast-paced settings. Ability to provide own tools suitable for the job. Capability to prioritize and multitask effectively. Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle (mobile role). Ability to pass background checks. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in indoor / outdoor environments. ASE certifications or OEM-specific training (e.g., CAT, Hyster, Cummins). Experience with field service or mobile repair. Strong communication and customer service skills. What You’ll Do
- Perform advanced maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty diesel engines, hydraulics, electrical systems, and farm machinery.
- Diagnose complex mechanical issues using advanced diagnostic tools and service manuals.
- Execute both scheduled and unscheduled repairs with minimal supervision, ensuring safety and performance standards.
- Operate cranes and specialized equipment to support repair and maintenance tasks.
- Communicate clearly with customers, providing detailed service recommendations and updates.
- Maintain accurate, detailed records of all repairs and maintenance activities.
- Mentor entry-level technicians and collaborate with teams to enhance service delivery.
- Stay current on industry advancements and apply expertise to improve repair processes.
