• Work 4x10 hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 30 PM
• Maintain 1 : 1 patient ratio
• Weekend call requirement : one weekend per month (Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
• Weekday call requirement : one call shift per week
• 2 years of experience required
• EP / Cath experience required
• Required certifications : BLS, ACLS
• South Carolina license or Compact license must be in hand prior to start
• Radiation badge required and must be provided by agency
• Hospital issued scrubs for Cath Lab
• Epic charting system experience
• Perform cardiac stent placement, diagnostic and interventional catheterizations
• Handle peripheral and coronary diagnostic procedures
• Work with specialized equipment including Impella, balloon pump, Angiojet, and Shock Wave
• Provide procedural sedation administration and monitoring
• Manage interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Daily census approximately 20 cases in 5-room unit
• Guaranteed hours with facility allowed to call off 1 shift per 2 weeks
• Flu vaccine required with medical / religious exemptions only
• Hurricane season awareness required - may be assigned to emergency response teams June through November Facility : This acute care hospital features 304 total staffed beds and operates a comprehensive cardiovascular services program.
