• 36 hrs / Week\n\nPay : $68-$73 per hour\n\nJob Description\n\nThe RN will provide compassionate, patient-centered care to mothers and newborns during the labor, delivery, and immediate postpartum stages. This role requires strong clinical judgment, the ability to respond quickly in emergent situations, and excellent communication skills with patients, families, and the interdisciplinary team.\n\nThe Registered Nurse is responsible for the delivery of safe patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation. Provides direct patient care within the scope of practice. The Registered Nurse also directs and guides patient / family teaching and activities of other nursing personnel while maintaining standards of care in the Birthplace. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition and / or response to treatment. Provides for a safe environment for patients and visitors. Utilizes the chain of command when necessary to ensure patient well-being and appropriateness of care to newborns and mothers during the antepartum and postpartum periods.\n\nQualifications\n
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.\n
• Minimum 2 years of RN Post Partum experience in Hospital setting\n
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required).\n
• NRP certification (Neonatal Resuscitation Program) required.\n
• AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification preferred.\n
• Strong critical-thinking skills and ability to remain calm in high-stress situations.\n
