Description
With general supervision, this position performs visual inspection, repair analysis, focusing on activities related to the reverse logistics process. Specifically, managing products that are returned and then determining if they can be put back into stock, repaired, or otherwise handled. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the safety and airworthiness of aircraft parts and components.
Strong understanding of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing.
Requirements
Required Education and Experience :
High school Diploma or GED
1-3 years' experience in Turbine Engine repair and overhaul
1-3 years' experience in the evaluation of component damage and repair selection
1-3 years' experience in inspection and tooling process
Must be able to read, comprehend and interpret dimensional drawings and OEM manuals.
Preferred Education and Experience :
AA degree or equivalent experience in related discipline
Proficient in MS office applications and knowledge of ERP systems (Syteline)
Experience in reading blueprints and GD&T
