Bookkeeper Position
We are looking for an experienced bookkeeper to join our team in Monmouth County, New Jersey. This role involves managing essential accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial records, and supporting month-end close processes. The successful candidate will bring a high level of attention to detail and proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop and Online.
Responsibilities :
- Handle daily accounting tasks, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, billing, and invoicing.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial records while ensuring timely transaction postings.
- Prepare reconciliations and assist with month-end close activities to verify the accuracy of financial reports.
- Perform general bookkeeping duties, such as journal entries, bank and credit card reconciliations, and vendor account management.
- Collaborate with leadership to address accounting needs and resolve discrepancies.
- Provide support for ad-hoc accounting projects and special tasks as needed.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and maintain confidentiality of financial information.
Requirements :
