Pizza Specialist- Cook Campus Dining

SAGE Dining Services is seeking an experienced Cook with strong pizza-making skills to join our culinary team at a boarding school in Wallingford, Connecticut. SAGE seeks individuals passionate about food and community to create healthy, exciting restaurant-quality meals from scratch with strong pizza-making skills to join our culinary team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and brings expertise in working with raw dough, stone ovens, and traditional pizza preparation techniques. Previous experience in a dedicated pizza restaurant is highly preferred, Proven ability to handle and stretch raw dough by hand, skilled in working with stone or wood-fired ovens. The shift would be 9 : 45 am-2 : 30pm then back at 3 : 45 pm- 8 : 15 pm based on availability.Key Responsibilities :

• Prepare and cook a variety of pizzas using raw dough and fresh, high-quality ingredients.
• Operate and maintain a stone oven to ensure pizzas are cooked to perfection.
• Follow and execute pizza recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications consistently.
• Monitor food quality and ensure all pizzas meet our restaurant's standards.
