Cloud Solutions Architect - Contract Role (Hybrid) - Purview / Intune

Overview

We\'re working with a prominent consulting firm that is partnering with a major enterprise client in search of a seasoned cloud architecture professional with a focus on the Microsoft ecosystem. This position will play a strategic role in crafting secure and scalable solutions within a modern cloud environment.

The successful candidate will bring hands-on expertise in several key Microsoft technologies including Microsoft Purview for data governance and compliance and Microsoft Intune for endpoint and device management.

Base pay range : $80.00 / hr - $100.00 / hr

Location : Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex / Plano, TX

Key Responsibilities

• Design and lead the development of comprehensive cloud architectures to meet both technical and operational needs.
• Collaborate with business and technical leaders to develop cloud strategies that balance performance, security, and cost.
• Apply leading frameworks and models to assess and guide cloud adoption and maturity.
• Coordinate across development, infrastructure, and information security teams to ensure seamless delivery.
• Integrate advanced compliance and data visibility solutions to support governance objectives.
• Oversee device management strategy and implementation using cloud-based tools.
• Drive automation for environment setup, monitoring, and routine operations using scripting tools.
• Evaluate and refine existing environments for performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
• Document architectural decisions and deliver technical knowledge transfers to internal teams.
