Manager of Operations

Position Summary: The Manager of Operations will be part of the ABC’s Field Services Construction team. In this support role, the Manager of Operations will interact with ABC construction sites, clients, and engineering offices to ensure successful management of all construction functions in accordance with established policies, procedures, systems, and requirements approved by the company. Technical/Functional Responsibilities: · Directs, develops, communicates, and implements the company’s strategic goals · Identifies market trends and applications for existing and new technologies · Monitors and supports the pursuit of viable business opportunities · Supplies resources and training necessary to assess, screen, and develop business opportunities and optimize utilization of resources · Responsible for operation of offices that provide functional support services to business units to assure consistency of operations and implementation of the company’s operating policies and principles. · Recruits, manages, and develops the necessary professional, technical, and administrative staff personnel to provide support services · Develops strong relationships with internal and external clients, and with engineering and matrix counterparts Training and Experience Requirements: · Minimum of 5 years in the industrial / heavy process construction industry at construction manager level · Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with people at all levels of the organization, be self-motivated, and demonstrate experience in building relationships and positively motivating teams to accomplish multiple objectives in the most efficient manner. Ability to operate and assist with software and database implementation, experience with construction and/or engineering automation software is a plus · Training experience · Commitment to safety
