Responsibilities include :
Leading transportation design projects from concept through final plans
Preparing plans, specifications, and cost estimates in accordance with GDOT and AASHTO standards
Overseeing roadway design, traffic operations, and related improvements
Managing project budgets, schedules, and deliverables
Coordinating with internal teams, subconsultants, and clients
Mentoring junior engineers and supporting staff development
Assisting with proposals, scope development, and client presentations
Driving quality control and ensuring compliance with applicable standards
The ideal candidate will have :
At least 6 years of experience in transportation engineering
Strong knowledge of GDOT standards and procedures
Proficiency in design software such as MicroStation, OpenRoads, or similar
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering (Master's preferred)
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Georgia
Proven experience managing projects and leading teams
Excellent communication and leadership skills
