The Pennsylvania Lottery is seeking an experienced, energetic sales professional to serve a specific sales territory within the Allegheny County area. As a Lottery Sales Representative, you will provide product, guidance, and support to existing retailers while actively working with them to increase their sales. You will also use your sales skills to recruit new retailers, educate them on the benefits of joining our retailer network, and provide strategies that will help them succeed. Description Of Work : As a Lottery Sales Representative, you will be required to navigate a web based portal and be PC and iPad proficient to effectively complete your duties. This professional reads and interprets sales data determining the effectiveness of various marketing techniques and conducts sales and promotional activities. Interpersonal skills are key as you will communicate with business owners and customers the value of Lottery products and provide detailed information about procedures and products. You will have the opportunity to interact and engage players and network with other sales representatives at retailer events. Bring your ambition and talents to our team!

Work Schedule And Additional Information : Full-time employment Work hours are 8 : 30 AM to 4 : 30 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch. There will be at least once per month where the work hours will change to 11 : 30 am to 7 : 30 pm for one week. This position is home headquartered, however you would be expected to report to the assigned area office on a weekly basis. Overtime may be required on a limited basis. You must be able to work and drive in all types of weather conditions. Telework : You will not have the option to telework in this position. Salary : In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable. You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.

Required Experience, Training, And Eligibility Qualifications : Minimum Experience and Training Requirements : Four years of experience in progressively responsible sales or marketing work; or Any equivalent experience and training. Special Requirement : You must possess a valid motor vehicle operator's license. Additional Requirements : You must abide by the prohibition guidelines and refrain from gambling in Pennsylvania casinos, or any casino outside of Pennsylvania with the same owners. This position will travel to cover Allegheny County. The candidate must reside in Allegheny County in one of the following zip codes : 15201, 15206, 15208, 15215, 15219, 15224, 15235. Relocation is not an option. You must have four or more years of sales experience. You must have four or more years of customer service experience in a sales environment. You must be able to lift / carry up to 40 pounds. You must be available to work the required work schedule of 8 : 30 AM to 4 : 30 PM. There will be at least once per month where the work hours will change to 11 : 30 AM to 7 : 30 PM for one week. You must be able to perform essential job functions.
