Gleam Electric is growing and we want you on our team! As a thriving and growing electrical and lighting contracting company with over 6 years in business, we are in search of qualified applicants to assist with our ever growing work load.
The successful applicant will own the following assortment of skills plus 5 or more years of experience as a lead electrician in the commercial / industrial industry : The applicant will be able to read plans, manage time, materials, and team members, and will be a concise and competent leader who is excited to grow more leaders.
Responsibilities of a Lead Journeyman
Oversee and manage electrical projects from start to finish.Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans.Coordinate with clients, contractors, and other trades to ensure project success.Supervise a team of electricians and provide guidance and support.Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.Conduct quality control inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship.Troubleshoot electrical issues and provide effective solutions.Ability to direct report to project managersAbility to run large crewsJob Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (Include but are not limited to) :
Proven experience as a lead electrical journeyman or similar role.In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, components, and equipment.Underground electrical construction experienceExperience in Commercial / Industrial settings.Heavy equipment experience.Understands utility locates, potholing, and ensures human and network safety.Proficient in blueprint reading and interpreting construction plans.Full knowledge and understanding of electrical codes and regulations.Detailed-orientated with strong problem-solving abilities.Valid drivers license.Some travel required.Required OSHA 10, Lock out tag out training, first aid and CPR certifiedEssential Physical Requirements (Include but are not limited to) :
Must be able and willing to work indoors / outdoors and in inclement weather conditions.Must be able to lift and carry materials of all shapes and sizes, weighing 50-100 pounds
