We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Education Director to lead our educational programs across Hope Academy locations. This individual will provide strategic direction, foster collaboration among staff, ensure compliance with state and federal standards, and champion the success of both students and educators.

What You’ll Do :
Academy Leadership – Oversee educational programming and goal setting by integrating best practices in education and special education
Compliance & Quality Assurance – Ensure all services and instruction meet professional standards, as well as state and federal requirements
Team Supervision – Lead, support, and evaluate education staff across all Hope Academy locations; conduct regular site visits to ensure compliance and student progress
Family & Community Engagement – Build strong, collaborative relationships with families, staff, and students while maintaining clear and consistent communication
Strategic Collaboration – Partner with the leadership team to drive continuous improvement in programming and outcomes
Perform other responsibilities as assigned to support the mission and goals of The Hope Learning Center
What You’ll Bring : Education :
Bachelor’s Degree in Education, Special Education, or a related field (required)
Master’s Degree in Education, Special Education, or related field (preferred)
Certification : Pennsylvania Special Education Certification (required)
Experience :
Supervisory or administrative experience in a school setting (required)
Experience working with individuals with developmental delays (preferred)
Skills : Exceptional leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving abilities
Required Clearances & Training :
Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance
Act 34 State Criminal History Clearance
Act 114 FBI Clearance (DOE)
Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training
Act 168 Clearance from previous employers (if applicable)
State Certification
CPR / First Aid
Recent Physical / TB Test
