Children s Specialty Group (CSG) and Children s Hospital of The King s Daughters (CHKD) is seeking a full time Nurse Practitioner to work in the Department of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics. You will join our interdisciplinary team of developmental pediatrician, nurse practitioners, psychologists, social workers, educational consultants, and other support staff. In addition to an interdisciplinary NICU follow up clinic and a new autism spectrum disorder clinic, our division coordinates services across Hampton Roads as one of five regional Child Development Centers supported by the Virginia Department of Health.
Responsibilities
In collaboration with the physician, utilize evidence-based protocols to develop an individualized plan of care.
Appropriately manage specific developmental and behavioral disorders including, but not limited to, ADHD, Autism, Behavior Disorders, Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities and medically complex children with developmental delays in collaboration with supervising physician.
Participates in the development and implementation of health screening program for infants, children and adolescents for identification of at risk developmental behavioral problems.

Education, Experience and Training
Current license as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner or Family Nurse Practitioner
Developmental Pediatric experience preferred
