About The Role : CDL Class B Driver

We are thrilled to invite you to apply for the CDL Class B Driver position within our Orica USA Commercial team. In this role, you will :

Drive and operate Orica's bulk trucks (Mobile Manufacturing Units).
Install blasting products at local construction sites, mines, and quarries.
Ensure the upkeep and maintenance of your equipment.

This hybrid role consists of approximately 40% driving and 60% physical installation work . You will be responsible for :

Loading products and driving a Class B CDL truck.

Pulling hoses and operating manufacturing unit control systems.

Climbing on and off the bulk truck in various weather conditions.

Safety is our top priority, and we strive to conduct all operations in a safe and environmentally responsible manner.

Work Schedule

Monday through Friday

Local driving (2-3 hours)

Early morning starts at approximately 6 AM

10-12 hours per day

Overtime may be needed

Up to 10% overnight travel may be required

What You Will Be Doing

Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles.

Operate emulsion tanker trucks and box trucks.

Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements.

Minimize environmental impact through waste reduction practices.

Participate in daily toolbox talks and monthly safety meetings.

What You Will Bring

Minimum of one year of experience in driving and / or material handling (preferred).

Solid understanding of DOT regulations (required).

Strong communication skills and teamwork ability.

Excellent attention to detail and basic math skills.

Ability to prioritize multiple tasks efficiently.

Physical Requirements

Work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Lift up to 60 pounds and carry 50 pounds or more.

Load products, pull large hoses, and climb on / off trucks.

Frequent bending, squatting, and mobility throughout the day.

Your Qualifications

Valid Class B CDL required (Class A is a plus).

Tanker and Hazmat endorsements preferred.

Willingness to obtain endorsements—support will be provided.

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Compensation

Hourly Pay Range : $26-28

Signing Bonus : $4,500

(Salary will be determined based on experience, knowledge, skills, and internal equity.)
