Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Ag Diesel Technician Lead, located in Loretto, KY. The role involves daily tasks of preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and general maintenance and repair of semis / trailers, diesel trucks, light vehicles, construction equipment, and heavy farm equipment. The Ag Diesel Technician Lead will be responsible for diagnosing mechanical issues, coordinating repairs, and ensuring all machinery operates efficiently. The role will require good communication with the Maintenance Manager to identify problems and provide prompt solutions.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver's license with safe driving record.
• Knowledge and understanding of diesel engines, semi-trucks, construction equipment, and general farm equipment.
• Experience of 2-5 years or more in a maintenance role.
• ASE or another Mechanic Certification is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and solve problems efficiently.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse teams.
• Ability to provide clear reports and findings to management.
• Basic computer skills to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively.
• Open to work extended hours during peak seasons as required by the agriculture industry.
