Shipping & Receiving Operator - 1st Shift

About the Opportunity :

• Job Title : Shipping & Receiving Operator
• Pay Rate Range : $24.00-$27.00 / Hour
• Location : Bloomington, MN
• Schedule : 1st Shift Monday-Thursday 6 : 15AM-3 : 30PM & Friday 6 : 15AM-12 : 30PM
• Position Type : Temp to Hire

Requirements and Qualifications :

1. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

3. The ability to stand and walk for long periods, lift, and carry objects frequently, and bend, stoop, and crouch.

4. They must also have good hand-eye coordination, vision, and the strength to move objects weighing up to 50 pounds or more.

Duties and Responsibilities :

1. Must have a basic understanding of warehouse procedures.

2. Understand the layout of the warehouse and bin location system.

3. Gathers materials / product from the warehouse to package / assemble for shipment or customer pick-up.

4. Ensures the efficient loading and unloading of all vehicles.

5. Verifies accuracy / receipt of loads, shippers, logs, bills of lading.

6. Receives material and outside service work. Can transact inventory for use in the manufacturing process.

7. Must tag and place the incoming material to the proper bin locations in the warehouse for future use.

8. Operate a forklift.

9. Cycle Counting.
