Job description

A law firm seeks a transactional attorney with 4 to 6 years of experience to join its corporate practice in Amarillo, Texas. The role involves working on mergers and acquisitions, business planning, corporate governance, real estate, and finance and lending. The position requires strong academic credentials and advanced drafting skills.

Duties

  • Engage in frequent client contact and maintain mature client relations.
  • Draft and review complex legal documents with precision.
  • Collaborate effectively within a team environment.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively with clients and colleagues.

Requirements

  • 4 to 6 years of transactional experience.
  • Admission to practice law in Texas.
  • Prior experience in a law firm setting.

    • Education

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.

    • Certifications

  • Licensed to practice law in Texas.

    • Skills

  • Advanced drafting and writing skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
