Medical Unit Receptionist (MUR)

6 West 2 at Forsyth Medical Center is seeking a Medical Unit Receptionist (MUR). The MUR performs clerical and receptionist roles to facilitate the efficient operation and maintenance of the patient care area under the supervision of the health care team members.

Schedule: 6am-6pm, Full-time Days (Rotating weekends)

Department: Cardiac Telemetry

Location: Forsyth Medical Center, Winston-Salem, NC

Patient population in this unit includes those with chest pain, pacemakers, heart failure, Cardiac Cath Pre & Post, and other general cardiac patients. 6 West 2 is a 23-bed unit emphasizing teamwork and has new advancements and technology. 6 West 2 is also a trial unit for new processes within Forsyth Medical Center.

What We're Looking For

Education: High school diploma required.

Experience: One year experience in healthcare preferred.

Licensure/certification/registration: NC state approved curricula for restrictive interventions (facility specific) within 3 months of hire for Emergency Departments and Behavioral Health units. Required.

Additional skills preferred: Experience with answering multiple phone lines. Basic computer skills. Excellent customer service behaviors.
