Position Overview
As a Survey Manager at LJA Surveying , you will be responsible for the daily management of Survey Managers, Survey Managers and multiple survey technicians and support staff in the Arizona Survey Department.
A Typical Day Might Include
Responsible for supervision of business and project operations in the Arizona Survey department. Responsible for the supervision of budget, client relations and business development. Directly supervises the daily activities of the Arizona Survey department, including project time and cost estimates. Responsible for overseeing manpower and project projections.Business Responsibilities :Establish annual business plan with the President and Vice PresidentEstablish office objectivesCollaborate with PM'sEstablish group planBalance staffing and workloadPrioritize long-term resourcesOrganize project teamAchieve financial objectivesAnalyze team and group financial performanceInitiate corrective actionsReport results to managementEstablish project plan and objectivesCollaborate with Project Managers to help them determine timeframes, budgets, staffing, and project scheduleAssist with developing project proposals as neededMaintain executive level client relationshipsRespond to project inquiriesServe as liaison between client and project team membersResearch project informationUtilize AutoCAD and other related software packages as neededCommunicate with other survey staffProvide guidance to team membersRequired Education / License / Certifications
