Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Estimator for our Electrical Construction projects in the healthcare sector, specifically focusing on hospitals. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in evaluating project costs, ensuring accuracy, and contributing to the successful delivery of electrical systems in hospital environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed cost estimates for electrical construction projects in hospitals.
- Analyze project documents and specifications to determine project scope and requirements.
- Collaborate with project managers and engineers to gather necessary information for accurate estimating.
- Conduct site visits to assess existing conditions and gather data for cost assessments.
- Prepare and submit bid proposals and provide recommendations for project execution.
- Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing.
- Utilize estimating software to enhance accuracy and efficiency in the estimating process.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.Minimum of 1 years of experience in estimating electrical construction projects, preferably in healthcare settings.Strong knowledge of HCAI standards and compliance requirements for hospital construction.Proficient in estimating software and tools.Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders.Benefits
