AP & AR Supervisor

The AP&AR Supervisor will report directly to the Controller and will provide direct support of the day to day operations for the AP and AR staff, including but not limited to identifying and addressing inefficiencies in processes and staff, and holding the teams accountable to deadlines by ensuring timely and accurate processing of all AP and AR invoices, payments and deposits, and working cross- functionally with various members in Accounting and Purchasing. They will be responsible for ensuring a timely and accurate accounting close process for AP and AR, which includes preparing and reviewing various aging schedules to ensure each tie out to the trail balance. They will maintain strong vendor and customer relationships and resolve escalated issues or disputes timely. They will ensure compliance with internal controls, policies and vendor / customer terms. Additionally, pertaining to AR, they will assist Operations, IT and MasterData in verifying, researching, resolving issues regarding internal controls, billing, and rates.

Responsibilities :

• Daily supervision of the AP & AR teams to ensure timely and accurate processing of all AP & AR transactions; daily review of the AP inbox; resolving escalated issues or disputes timely and effectively.
• Oversee collection efforts for all receivable; analyze all AR aging schedules and the AR Cash Flow Projection model; negotiate payments and settlements with customers and send delinquent accounts to external collection agencies; review bad debt provision.
• Assist Finance and Accounting team with various accounting functions, reports, and ad hoc requests, including providing projected cash receipt information upon request; support audits by preparing documentation and responding to requests; oversee 1099 reporting and ensure year-end compliance.
• Prepare and review various AP & AR aging schedules and ensure they tie out to the trail balance; monitor unapplied credit and debit balances and follow up with appropriate staff, vendors, and customers accordingly.
• Deport checks and process CC transactions for AR as needed.

Pay $85,000- $100,000 annually
