As a Security Professional in Baytown, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical / Petrochemical, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by actively monitoring and patrolling a chemical and petrochemical location. Your presence will help create a secure environment for everyone onsite, while you provide outstanding customer service and clear communication. This role is a driving post, so a valid drivers license in the job state is required. What You'll Do
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter, including operational areas typical of chemical or petrochemical locations.Maintain awareness of surroundings to help to deter unauthorized access and / or suspicious activity.Document and report any unusual observations, incidents, or maintenance needs encountered during patrols.Communicate promptly and professionally with Allied Universal management, client representatives, and emergency personnel as needed.Comply with all site-specific training requirements and protocols relevant to a chemical or petrochemical environment.Minimum Requirements
A valid drivers license is required in the state where the job is located.Proof of a high school diploma or equivalent, such as a GED, is required by the client.Customer service experience is preferred.Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid drivers license will be required for driving positions only.Allied Universal is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
