LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Legal Assistant with strong litigation experience in the Tampa area. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience supporting attorneys in litigation matters. Experience with intellectual property (IP) cases is highly preferred. Responsibilities :

Provide day-to-day administrative and legal support to litigation attorneys.

Prepare, format, and proofread legal documents including pleadings, discovery, motions, and correspondence.

Manage case files (electronic and hard copy) and ensure all documents are properly organized and filed.

Schedule hearings, depositions, meetings, and maintain attorney calendars.

Assist with e-filing in state and federal courts.

Communicate with clients, courts, and opposing counsel in a professional manner.

Support trial preparation including exhibit organization and witness coordination.

Perform basic legal research and assist with document review when needed.

Handle billing entries, expense reports, and administrative tasks as assigned.

Qualifications :

Minimum of 3 years of litigation experience in a law firm or corporate legal department.

Intellectual property experience (patent, trademark, or trade secret matters) highly preferred.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).

Experience with legal management software (e.g., iManage, Clio, or similar) a plus.

Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet tight deadlines.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
