About this Role :

Under direction of the Staff Services Manager I (SSM I) of the Fiscal Reporting Data Unit in the Local Governmental Financing Division (LGFD), Behavioral Health Financing Branch (BHFB), the Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) will support, frequently using Microsoft Excel, the development, implementation, and monitoring of county fiscal reporting requirements of Medi-Cal behavioral health programs.

Working with the SSM I, attend meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including counties, to document a common set of data elements and develop data capture mechanisms for county financial reporting requirements for the Specialty Mental Health (MH) and Drug Medi-Cal (DMC) programs.

Telework Information

This position is currently eligible for telework up to three days per week and is required to report in person a minimum of two days per week. The amount of telework is at the discretion of the Department and is subject to change consistent with DHCS' Telework Program and Government Code sections 14200 - 14203. Telework is available to California residents, and proof of residency may be required.

Business travel may be required, and reimbursement considers an employee's designated office and residence subject to regulations and bargaining unit contract provisions. All commute expenses to the reporting location will be the responsibility of the selected candidate.
