Job description

F / T year round warehouse help for commercial pool company. Full medical, vision and dental benefits available after waiting period. 401k (w / match), long term disability and life insurance available.

Objectives of this Role :

  • Assist in the field when needed
  • Ensure the warehouse operates at peak efficiency through collaboration with the warehouse team
  • Engage in warehouse operations by following product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, warehouse cleaning, shipping and receiving, and ground maintenance
  • Work with the warehouse team to solve day-to-day operational issues and reach short- and long-term performance goals
  • Complete daily operations, while assisting field technicians and organizing inventory and logistics
  • Review and prepare parts for field technicians, space requirements and organization within the warehouse, equipment layout, and action plans while ensuring productivity, quality and service standards are met
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations
  • Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and deliver items for general maintenance as needed
  • Meet regularly with warehouse lead to review, analyze, and develop actionable plans for productivity
  • Transport products to customers and field staff when in need with Company vehicle

Skills & Qualifications :

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Prior warehouse or logistics experience is preferred
  • Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and communication qualities
  • Ability to work with all levels of company staff at a fast pace
  • Comfortable delivering frequent direct written and oral feedback
  • Basic math and Microsoft computing skills (EXCEL)
  • Quickbooks knowledge a plus but not required
  • Able to lift 100 lbs.
  • Good organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work without continual direction; problem solving skills
  • Team player with strong attention to detail
  • Valid drivers license, good driving record with ability to obtain chauffeurs license
  • Overtime and weekend shifts may be required on a seasonal basis

    • Salary / Compensation : $20.00 - $27.00 per hour
