As a member of the Sustaining Engineering team, you would join other smart, talented, and dedicated engineers that pride themselves in analyzing the most difficult challenges for the launch-test range while developing and delivering solutions to meet the needs of the US Space Force and their customers.

This position is located at (VSFB) Vandenberg Space Force Base, CA

This position may be eligible for hybrid telecommuting after the initial training period is complete

Essential Functions

• Design, develop, modify, and implement new and / or existing capabilities for support hardware systems. Perform system modeling, simulation, and analysis to provide the most appropriate technical solution.
• Support testing to qualify hardware systems for Range operations.
• Plan, conduct, and assist in the execution of engineering projects.
• Coordinate with technical support personnel for assigned projects.
• Analyze, develop, recommend, and implement approaches to meet requirements.
• Evaluates component suppliers and vendor capabilities.
• Provide leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.
• Assist with problematic repairs of Line Replaceable Units (LRU’s).
• Provide engineering assistance to restore operational systems.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

The salary range for this role is $89,000 to $135,564; however, RGNext considers several factors when extending an offer for employment, including but not limited to, the role and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, education / training and preferred skills and knowledge.
