Job Description American Traveler is seeking a Labor & Delivery RN with at least one year of experience, a CA RN license, and current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications.

Responsibilities Work in an acute care hospital Labor & Delivery unit

Care for a culturally diverse and high-risk OB patient population

RNs circulate for cesarean sections

Night shift position with three 12-hour shifts per week (18 : 00 – 6 : 30)

Required to work every other weekend

Floating between similar units and all facilities within the state is expected

Uses Epic EMR system; experience is required

First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Former permanent staff must wait at least three months before returning as a traveler and cannot live within 50 miles of the facility

RTO must be included at the time of application and is subject to approval

Travelers expected to comply with floating requirements or risk assignment termination

RN scrub attire is any solid color, typically Royal Blue or Navy

Free parking on the first day with assignment parking provided during orientation

Team supports high-risk obstetric care in a collaborative environment

References from two supervisors covering one year within the last three years in a comparable setting are required

Requirements Active CA RN license required at time of application

Minimum one year recent Labor & Delivery RN experience required

Current ACLS, BLS, and NRP certifications required

Epic charting experience required
