Job DescriptionJob Description Job Purpose

JVM Solutions is hiring Medical Laboratory Technicians to support a Processing Center in El Paso, TX.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Follow laboratory procedures and guidelines for specimen handling and processing, test analysis, reporting and maintaining records of service member test results.
• Adhere to laboratory quality control policies, document all quality control activities, instrument and procedural calibrations and maintenance performed.
• Follow the laboratory's established policies and procedures whenever test systems are not within the laboratory's established acceptable levels of performance.
• Identify problems that may adversely affect test performance or reporting of test results and shall either correct the problems or immediately notify the general supervisor, technical supervisor, clinical consultant, or medical director.
• Perform laboratory procedures and tests as required / directed.
• Document laboratory procedures and tests conducted. Maintain documentation of all tests / actions provided in accordance with applicable directives and prepare such records and reports as may be required by the policy.
• Ensure all documentation and reports are legible and complete. The CP shall prepare all documentation to meet or exceed established standards to include but not limited to timeliness, legibility, accuracy, content, and signature.
