Schedule : Monday–Friday, 1st Shift (exact hours to be confirmed)

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Quality Technician I to join our Quality Engineering team. This role is critical to ensuring the integrity of our fastening systems through rigorous testing, inspection, and calibration. Primary Responsibilities

  • Conduct testing for finished products and raw materials
  • Audit production lines to ensure products meet specifications
  • Complete internal calibrations on schedule
  • Review material certifications and report discrepancies
  • Accept or reject product and communicate results with teams
  • Maintain lab equipment and ensure proper functionality
  • Report quality issues to management
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • 1–3 years of experience in a quality testing role
  • Tool testing experience preferred
  • Experience in an industrial manufacturing environment
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or in teams
  • Familiarity with micrometers, calipers, and computer systems
  • Ability to accurately and efficiently record testing outcomes
  • Requirements

  • Proficient math skills and ability to read, write, add, and subtract
  • Above average manual dexterity
  • Ability to lift, stoop, bend, walk, pull, and carry up to 40 pounds
  • Comfortable working in environments with noise, dirt, and fumes (within OSHA limits)
  • Must be able to stand for approximately 75% of the shift
  • Must be comfortable with potential exposure to lost-time accidents (hands, arms, feet, or back)
