Overview :
Seeking an analytical professional to support Customs & Trade Operations with a focus on metals compliance (steel, aluminum, copper). This role reviews Bills of Materials, ensures accurate metal weight reporting, and supports import / export activities.
Key Responsibilities :
- Review BOMs and verify metal weights for finished goods.
- Partner with procurement and engineering to confirm material data.
- Support import / export documentation, customs clearance, and broker coordination.
- Audit brokers, resolve declaration / duty discrepancies, and maintain compliance records.
- Assist with internal / external audits and small trade operations projects.
Qualifications :
Bachelor's in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or equivalent experience.Knowledge of metals in manufacturing / trade environments.Experience with BOM analysis and cross-functional collaboration.Familiarity with import / export regulations, tariff classification, and customs docs.Project management experience preferred.Proficient in ACE, ERP systems, and MS Office.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Work Environment :
Hybrid schedule; 2 on-site days weekly (additional during training / projects).Modern facility; full-time on-site option available.
