IT Technician

Position Summary

Viwinco, Inc. is seeking a skilled and motivated IT Technician to support and enhance our IT infrastructure. This role is pivotal in ensuring seamless technology operations across both our plant floor and office environments. The ideal candidate will bring technical expertise, proactive problem-solving, and the ability to contribute to projects that support Viwinco’s commitment to innovation and operational excellence.

Primary Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair computer and network equipment in a fast-paced production environment (servers, workstations, switches, radios, phones, cameras, access control devices, printers, power supplies, monitors, etc.).
• Provide operations and systems support to company personnel.
• Install, configure, and update software and firmware on computer equipment.
• Manage turnover of obsolete or discontinued computer equipment.
• Monitor for network errors, malware, and potential security issues.
• Support data backup, business continuity, and disaster recovery efforts.
• Respond to support requests via phone, email, and ticketing system in a timely and professional manner.
• Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours support.
