Senior Subcontracts Specialist

Our Global Supply Chain organization is seeking an Associate Subcontracts Specialist to support the programs, proposals, and business objectives of the National Security Sector. This role is the entry point into learning and performing full life cycle ("cradle-to-grave") subcontract management activities supporting primarily US Government programs. Initially, this role will support a variety of Programs with direct impact to National Security.

In this role, you will manage the overall subcontracting process which complies with contract requirements, company policies and procedures, and applicable laws and acquisition regulations. The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, who can work both independently and as part of a team. They will be the primary interface between subcontractors and the program for the contractual management of agreements typically of a medium-to-high dollar value, risk, creativity and complexity and will interact with other functional areas (e.g., program management, contracts, project control, finance, growth, etc.) to complete the necessary activities for the portfolio they're assigned.

Primary Responsibilities.

While not an exhaustive list, activities in the subcontracting process that are responsibilities of this role are supporting proposal activities (e.g., negotiation of non-disclosure agreements (NDAs) and teaming agreements, preparation of solicitation packages from customer requirements, evaluation of subcontractor proposals, price analysis, negotiation of price and terms and conditions, etc.) and subcontract award and post-award management (e.g., subcontract modifications, risk identification & mitigation, issue resolution, internal reporting, closeout activities, etc.). The complexity of assignments will increase with demonstrated proficiency, judgement, and business acumen.

Basic Qualifications.

• Typically requires a Bachelor's Degree and 4-8 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with 2-6 years of prior relevant experience.
• Must be US Citizen.
• Must be able to clearly articulate statuses and issues to management, internal partners, and suppliers

Preferred Qualifications.

Active Security clearance preferred but not required.

Pay Range :

Pay Range $72,150.00 - $130,425.00
