Position Summary
Serves as the initial point of contact for the SNAP Training & Education Program (STEP) grant project for Rogue Community College in Jackson and Josephine counties. Collaborates with the RCC GED / PCE team for the success of GED / PCE & concurrent enrollment STEP students. Maintains and retainsa caseload of STEP participants pursuing short-term vocational education options, 2-year programs of study, career pathways, or job search activities. Coordinates activities to address the needs of students and promotes student success for GED / PCE and college credit participants in the STEP Program. Monitors STEP grant project and makes recommendations to the program coordinator for program improvement to ensure that grant objectives are met. Communicates on a regular basis with faculty, staff, project members, Portland Community College Consortium, RCC Business Office, the Grant Accountant, and the Director of Student Engagement.

Minimum Qualifications
Only degrees received from an accredited institution will be accepted : accreditation must be recognized by the office of degree authorization, US Department of Education, as required by ORS 348.609. Final candidate will be required to provide official transcripts for required degree.

Additional Posting Information
This is a Full-time Classified, 40 hour per week (100%) position in the Student Engagement department. Starting compensation is entry level for Group 6 on the 2025-26 Classified Wage Schedule.
Position is fixed term / grant funded through 9 / 30 / 2026, renewed annually, with continuation dependent upon funding. Fixed term / grant funded positions do not accrue seniority.
