Compensation Manager Consultant
Robert Half Management Resources is recruiting for a strong Compensation Manager consultant to support a longstanding client on a 4-6-month hybrid (Southern California preferred) or remote project beginning immediately. The Compensation Manager should possess strong Workday Advanced Compensation & HCM functional experience and be capable of solution design and consultative partnership (not direct configuration).
Responsibilities :
Provide expert guidance on Workday Advanced Compensation & HCM Processes, and organizational processes, focusing on solution design and process improvements.
Collaborate closely with stakeholders to analyze and refine compensation cycles and associated workflows.
Develop and execute detailed test scripts to support testing and ensure process accuracy.
Offer responsive support during open annual compensation cycles by addressing user inquiries and resolving technical or process-related issues.
Act as a technical and process resource for compensation teams, managing and resolving escalated issues effectively.
Quickly adapt to and master BetterComp systems, acting as a liaison for market data and issue resolution in partnership with external stakeholders.
Communicate updates and resolutions regarding compensation processes to key stakeholders.
Provide hypercare support to ensure smooth operations and address any challenges during critical cycles.
Requirements :
Extensive functional / technical experience with Workday Advanced Compensation & HCM systems and related processes.
Strong background in compensation administration, analysis, and benchmarking.
Proven ability to design and implement solutions for complex organizational needs.
Familiarity with testing processes, including creating and executing test scripts.
Excellent problem-solving skills to address technical and process-related challenges.
Ability to quickly learn and apply technical knowledge to new systems, such as BetterComp.
Effective communication skills to relay information clearly to stakeholders and team members.
Prior experience in supporting annual compensation cycles and managing escalated issues.
