Our team is experiencing exciting growth within our established Construction Management practice, and we are seeking a new Construction Inspector (ON CALL / AS NEEDED) part time basis to join our team. You'll inspect construction methods and workmanship to ensure that contractors build roadways, bridges, traffic signals and related improvements in accordance with plans and specifications. You'll be expected to perform work independently on assignments; however, all unusual issues are referred to the supervisor.

Primary Responsibilities

• Observe and inspect ongoing construction work to ensure it is in conformance with the plans, specifications, and other contract documents.
• Prepare contractors' pay notes and recommend for approval for actual work completed.
• Review traffic control setup against approved traffic control plans.
• Maintain a daily report of work in progress and status of completion and discusses construction related issues with client contact.
• This is a temporary, on call / as needed part time position. Estimate about 20 hours per week but can vary.

Here's what you'll need

Posted Salary Range : Minimum $43.00 to $75.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
