As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol designated areas to help create a secure environment for patients, staff, and visitors. Your visible presence and routine patrols will help to deter security-related incidents while you deliver outstanding customer service and clear communication. Pay Rate : $16.25 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime

Thur 02 : 15 PM - 10 : 30 PM

Fri 02 : 15 PM - 10 : 30 PM

Sun 06 : 15 AM - 02 : 30 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service to clients, staff, patients, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized access and maintain a visible presence throughout the location.
  • Assist with access control procedures, including verifying identification and providing directions to visitors as needed.
  • Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and activities according to site-specific requirements.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, including assisting with evacuations or other urgent situations in accordance with healthcare protocols.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • You must be at least 21 years of age.
  • You must provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
