Job description

Medical Office Specialist Opportunity

Nextaff is hiring a Medical Office Specialist to work with our client, a busy and growing primary care medical practice in Naples, FL. As a Medical Office Specialist, you will be answering telephone calls and fielding inquiries from patients regarding scheduling, prescription refills, billing, and other general questions and ensuring patient notes are updated. This is a full-time, contract-to-hire position, with a Monday-Friday, 8 : 00 AM-5 : 00 PM schedule.

What We Need From You :

  • At least 6 months of experience working in a medical office environment
  • Solid knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology
  • Experience documenting in and updating patient data in EHR applications (experience with eClinicalWorks preferred)
  • Friendly, outgoing, with an excellent telephone presence and enjoy solving problems
  • Background and drug screening required
