Stockroom Clerk
The Stockroom or "Stores" Clerk reports directly to the Aviation Stockroom / Stores Supervisor. Stores Clerk must have a working knowledge of aviation terminology and must maintain a valid state issued vehicle operator's license.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient stockroom area and tool room.
Monitor parts, tool usage, update stock status and allocation as required.
Monitor all shelf-life affected products and discard and replenish supplies as necessary.
Route parts to and from maintenance locations, bays and aircraft in a timely manner to support all maintenance operations.
Move serviceable and unserviceable parts to required locations for shipping and receiving.
Pick up parts from outside vendors or shipping facilities as required.
Assist in maintaining calibrated tooling and test equipment in a current state including records of calibration.
Requisition and purchase parts, consumables, and other items.
Load and unload trucks.
Verify Hazardous Material requirements are met for storage of chemicals and hazardous products.
Additional duties as assigned by the Aviation Stockroom / Stores Supervisor.
Requirements : 18+ years of age
High school diploma or GED
Ability to speak, read, write, and understand English at full professional proficiency
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Aviation experience
Attention to detail
Strong communication skills
Effective time management
Knowledgeable in aviation terminology
Familiarity with Aircraft Maintenance Systems preferred
Familiarity with ERP software preferred
