Responsibilities

• Assist in conducting experiments under the guidance of higher lab personnel, ensuring accuracy, precision, and adherence to protocols.
• Set up, operate, and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments.
• Collect data, record observations, and compile results from experiments using various laboratory techniques and software.
• Analyze data, draw insights, and contribute to the interpretation of experimental outcomes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laboratory, ensuring a safe and efficient working environment.
• Manage inventory, including ordering and restocking supplies, and assist in maintaining equipment functionality.
• Document experimental procedures, results, and observations accurately in laboratory notebooks and reports.
• Assist in the preparation of technical reports and presentations summarizing experimental findings.
• Assist in quality control procedures and compliance with relevant standards, protocols, and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the integrity and accuracy of data and experimental processes.
• Communicate effectively within the team and with supervisors to provide progress updates and seek guidance.

Work Environment

The position is based in a Quality Control and R&D lab within a smaller laboratory and facility. The work environment is collaborative, allowing for opportunities to engage in various lab activities. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $21.00 / hr.
