\n\nJob Description\n

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse specializing in Orthopedic procedures. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in total joint procedures and demonstrate a commitment to patient care and safety. This role requires working as part of a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment.

\n\nResponsibilities\n \n

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of the operating room for orthopedic surgeries.

    • \n

  • Collaborate effectively with the surgical team to provide exemplary patient care.

    • \n

  • Ensure compliance with safety and healthcare regulations during procedures.

    • \n

  • Manage patient documentation and maintain accurate records.

    • \n

  • Monitor patient conditions before, during, and after surgery.

    • \n \n\nRequired Experience / Certifications / Licensure\n \n

  • Minimum of 18 months recent orthopedic operating room experience required.

    • \n

  • Must have 18 months permanent OR experience prior to travel.

    • \n

  • Strong orthopedic experience in total joint procedures is essential.

    • \n

  • MUST HAVE a permanent Ohio license or compact state license in hand.

    • \n

  • AHA BLS certification required.

    • \n

  • Recent Epic charting experience (within the last 6 months) is required.

    • \n

  • A recent reference from a manager, ANM, supervisor, or director in the specialty applying is required; charge RN references accepted.

    • \n

  • Traveler must work at least every other holiday.
