Job Summary

The Computer Operator performs standard operational procedures and provides support services for internal and external users of the computers and peripheral equipment. The Computer Operator is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of information and services in a multi-disciplined computing environment including and monitoring application programs and systems utilities and quality control.

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent

One (1) or more years of experience working with computer and network equipment and operating software

Valid U.S. drivers license

Note : Relevant combinations of education training and experience may also be considered.

Preferred Qualifications

• Associates degree in IT Science Engineering or a related field.
• Basic coding or scripting skills in any language or system.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for assembling and repairing items.

Representative Job Duties

Shift

3rd Shift : 11 : 00pm - 7 : 30am; Wednesday Thursday Friday Saturday Sunday (ending Monday morning at 7 : 30am)

This position is considered an essential role.

Travel

Local travel between campus locations only

Driving

Driving a personal vehicle for non-passenger use

Starting Salary / Rate

Expected hiring range : $18.00 per hour
