Description
CU Innovations seeks a highly motivated and versatile Innovation Partnerships Manager to support its efforts to advance healthcare discoveries through industry and inter-institutional partnerships, including data partnerships, biobanking, and co-development opportunities. This role serves as a central connector, partnering with faculty, industry collaborators, internal leadership, and external stakeholders to support the execution of key programs and initiatives and to coordinate large-scale partnerships and translational research collaborations.
Key Responsibilities
- Support leadership in aligning cross-campus stakeholders around shared goals and program priorities.
- Act as an execution partner for high-value data partnerships and other strategic collaborations.
- Collaborate with business development and licensing teams to ensure alignment between contractual terms, deliverables, and scientific objectives.
- Help support research efforts by providing industry trend perspectives, partner priorities, and competitive landscapes across biobanking, clinical data, and multimodal datasets.
- Support strategy development for partnerships by synthesizing insights from scientific, business, and regulatory perspectives.
- Engage key potential partners to expand and deepen relationships with industry partners.
- Work in a hybrid schedule (3 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings).

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a scientific or engineering discipline (e.g., molecular biology, genetics, bioinformatics, biomedical engineering, biochemistry, or engineering).4–6 years of experience in biobanking, healthcare consulting, data commercialization, or business market research relevant to the role.Preferred Qualifications
PhD or advanced degree in a related scientific or engineering field.Minimum of 5 years of relevant business experience.Experience in healthcare or management consulting, investment banking, or commercial roles at biopharmaceuticals or CDMOs.Knowledge of and experience in pharmaceutical, cell and gene therapy, biobanking, healthcare data, and healthcare technology development.Experience implementing strategic plans in pharma, biotech, diagnostics, or medical devices.Experience with biospecimens, multimodal data, or translational research programs.Prior involvement in industry-sponsored partnerships with biopharma, diagnostics, or healthcare technology companies.Competencies
Ability to work independently as a self-starter and collaborate within a team.Creative, with excellent written and oral communication, strong financial analysis, and strategic thinking skills.Ability to present to senior leadership internally and externally.Relevant business knowledge in strategic, financial, marketing, and market research areas (preferred).How to Apply

Additional Information
