Familiarity with charting systems, specifically Epic

Ability to coordinate care, perform needs assessments, and manage discharges

Description :

This position requires working every other weekend.

The daily caseload can include up to 25 patients.

Candidates must have experience in admission criteria, appeals, and denials.

Knowledge of benefits eligibility and discharge planning is necessary.

Experience with acute care and working with a diverse patient population, including adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics, is vital.

An understanding of CMS guidelines and HIPAA regulations is essential.

The position involves care coordination, prior authorizations, and adherence to national safety goals.

Candidates should demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Floating between various facilities within a state may be required.

Providers should be prepared to work on major holidays.

References from supervisors covering recent employment in a similar specialty are mandatory.
