About The Position

PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Shift : 8 HOUR DAYS

ASAP START

Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in Physical Therapy.

Requires heavy lifting, pushing / pulling and positioning as per patient type and situations. Exposure to workplace hazards such as bodily fluids is to be expected. Exposure to all those encountered when having contact with inpatient / outpatient populations.

The Physical Therapist performs a comprehensive evaluation on each patient and designs individual programs of treatment. The goal is to guide patients suffering from injury or disease towards full restoration of function, improve mobility, relieve pain, and prevent or limit permanent physical disabilities.

In addition, they promote patients' overall fitness and health. Physical therapists work with health-care teams.

Practicing within the scope of New York State Law. Works within multidisciplinary treatment teams. Supervises PT Assistants and techs.

2+ years experience

BLS

Active NY RN license required at time of submission

RTO MUST be included at time of submission
